The Dash 2000 |
Unique construction and operation, The Dash 2000 eliminates problems associated with conventional moulding presses. | ||
NO MORE :- High Wastage Flash Poor Temperature Control Poor Access Inefficient Fume Extraction Press Deflection Non Vacuum High Energy Losses High Energy Use
PREPARE FOR :- Excellent Temperature Control Complete Accessability No Fumes Rigid Press Structure Vacuum Chamber Efficient Energy Use Easy Tool Changing and Mould ejection Low Energy Use
The Dash 2000 is a totally new concept. Its main features are:AccessabilityTotal accessibility to the top of the mould. Provision is also made for the mounting of external equipment mould loaders etc. RigidityThe symmetrical structure of the dash 2000 produces even loading across the platens. The platens are fully supported and moving table deflection in zero the ideal situation for precision and flashless mouldings Fume ExtractionThe hinged head also incorporates a fume extraction vent Which can easily be connected to an external system. Control SystemOne or more Dash presses can be controlled and monitored from a central PC or office based system. An operator interface unit is fitted allowing direct input of of required temperature, time , pressure, etc. Vacuum ChamberThe head incorporates a vacuum structure as standard and forms the complete vacuum chamber with the cylinder when closed. No special vacuum boxes are required. Temperature ControlThe circular induction heated platens have no differential radiation from the edges and square corners of a square or rectangular platen to worry about. The platens are shrouded , kept in a vacuum and well insulated. With the press closed, it requires less than 500 watts to maintain temperature. Mould / Tool changingWhen the press is open access is total. No mould run out slides are required and bottom ejection is available for centre plate lifting or component ejection. |
